چکیده
Finite element modelling is performed to numerically predict the behaviour of civil engineering structures. Due different assumptions adopted during phase, this initial model does not always reflect adequately actual structural behaviour. In context, results experimental dynamic properties can be used improve numerical via implementation so-called finite updating method. After process, updated better reflects its simplicity, for practical applications, process usually considering maximum likelihood According approach, problem may formulated as combination two sub-problems: (i) a bi-objective optimization sub-problem; and (ii) decision-making sub-problem. The function defined in terms residuals between modal properties. As method, nature-inspired computational algorithms have been considered due their high efficiency cope with non-linear problems. Despite extensive use, method presents main limitations: simulation time required compute Pareto optimal front; necessity solving subsequent decision making (the selection best solution among elements front). order overcome these limitations, paper game theory has tool performance process. For purpose, re-formulated three models: non-cooperative; cooperative; (iii) evolutionary. Finally, proposal assessed when it implemented laboratory footbridge. result study, shown up efficient under since allows direct estimation reducing without compromising accuracy result.

A NEW APPROACH BASED ON FINITE ELEMENT MODEL UPDATING FOR STRUCTURAL DAMAGE IDENTIFICATION
In this study, the finite element model updating was simulated by reducing the stiffness of the members. Due to lack of access to the experimental results, the data obtained from an analytical model were used in the proposed structural damage scenarios. The updating parameters for the studied structures were defined as a reduction coefficient applied to the stiffness of the members. Parameter v...
متن کاملUpdating finite element model using frequency domain decomposition method and bees algorithm
The following study deals with the updating the finite element model of structures using the operational modal analysis. The updating process uses an evolutionary optimization algorithm, namely bees algorithm which applies instinctive behavior of honeybees for finding food sources. To determine the uncertain updated parameters such as geometry and material properties of the structure, local and...
متن کاملBayesian evidence for Finite element model updating
This paper considers the problem of model selection within the context of finite element model updating. Given that a number of FEM updating models, with different updating parameters, can be designed, this paper proposes using the Bayesian evidence statistic to assess the probability of each updating model. This makes it possible then to evaluate the need for alternative updating parameters in...
متن کاملFinite element model updating of a geared rotor system using particle swarm optimization for condition monitoring
In this paper, condition monitoring of a geared rotor system using finite element (FE) model updating and particle swarm optimization (PSO) method is onsidered. For this purpose, employing experimental data from the geared rotor system, an updated FE model is obtained. The geared rotor system under study consists of two shafts, four bearings, and two gears. To get the experimental data, iezoel...
متن کاملFinite Element Model Updating Using Response Surface Method
Finite element (FE) models are widely used to predict the dynamic characteristics of aerospace structures. These models often give results that differ from the measured results and therefore need to be updated to match the measured data. FE model updating entails tuning the model so that it can better reflect the measured data from the physical structure being modeled 1. One fundamental charact...
